We’re starting the month with a little work behind the scenes with our software upgrade. In the next week or two you may notice a few differences with our online booking system, and find it an easier, smoother process. We’re also excited to be adding gift vouchers which will be printable – ideal for last minute Valentine’s gifts!

Beauty Therapist, Libby is celebrating completeting her training in classic eye lash extensions this month, oh, and the small matter of her 18th birthday during February too! Whilst Katie is coming to the end of her Advanced Beauty training this month with new skills and qualifications under her belt.

Love Lycon this February
with our waxing promotion

For intimate waxing we use a brand called Lycon. Our Therapists who carry our these appointments have all trained, not just in ‘waxing’ as a broader subject, but specifically with the brand themselves and understand the details and techniques involved in this kind of presicion waxing.

This treatment removes very short hairs as short as 1mm long and uses a oil barrier to protect the skin, meaning the wax grips the hair not the skin making the process virtually pain free.

Before we introduce a new brand into the salon we spend time researching them with the quality of the products, training and client experience all paramount. Having done our market research and spoken with fellow salon owners we selected Lycon for our Hot Waxing. We love that they are a market leader in their field, and with good reason!

The products are of the highest quality making the waxing process easier for both the Therapist and our clients – it is virtually pain free thanks to their wax the wax adheres to the hair rather than the skin.

The company also offer excellent training and a number of our Therapists have now attended their courses, coming away with the skills and knowledge required. As we used Lycon to offer our Intimate Waxing this was an area we needed to be confident in so our Therapists could perform the treatments and reassure clients who are sometimes a little nervous.
