We’re starting the new month congratulating Emily who has recently been promoted to Senior Therapist. Having joined us as an apprentice, we are thrilled to see how Emily has developed into an accomplished and dedicated Therapist over the last few years. We are also welcoming Libby who has joined the team. Already a qualified Beauty Therapist, Libby is currently working on an Advanced Beauty Apprenticeship.
In other news, Elizabeth, who is currently on maternity leave has brought baby Annabella in for her first visit to the salon. Meanwhile our lash experts are advancing their skills and it’s been Russian Lash crazy here! Our Christmas bookings have been coming in thick and fast – please make sure you book early for the festive period (especially late nights and Saturdays), our Christmas and New Year opening times are at the bottom of the newsletter.

Salon Spotlight…

Throughout 2019 we’re putting the spotlight on a different treatment each month to tell you more about what each entails and how it could work for you. This month we’re focussing on Shellac Nails.
Treatment Name:
Shellac Hands or Shellac Feet

Treatment Type:
Long wear nail polish which can be removed without damage to the natural nails.

Appointment Time:
One hour. 

Who’s it for? 
Anyone wanting a long lasting nail colour. Great for anyone in a hurry as there’s zero dry time – shoes or gloves can be put on straight afterwards without the worry of smudging your new nails!
What Happens?
Your nails are prepared including cuticle work before the Shellac colour of your choice is applied. Nails are cured under a lamp which means they are immediately dry.

What Do I Need to Do Afterwards?
Apply cuticle oil or balm regularly to keep your nails is good condition – we stock Solar Oil (£2.99) and Badger Organic Cuticle Balm (£6.99) at the salon. We also advise against picking at your nails, and ensure you return to have them removed professionally to avoid any damage.

Results:
A long lasting nail colour with high shine – or, if you prefer a matte finish, or gliter top coat!

Cost: 
£27.50 for Shellac Hands or Shellac Feet, or book both together for £55.
Shellac removal without damage to the natural nail.

Hair Studio Membership

Our Hair Studio Membership is such good value and has already been proving popular since the launch – and it’s easy to see why! This membership option doesn’t just apply to you, but your immediate family are also able to enjoy trips to the hair studio when you’re not using your monthly treatments*. 
Here’s how it works: 

You purchase the membership and the card is assigned to you, however your partner or spouse, and children living at the same address are also able to use the treatments. You are assigned 2 treatments a month. So for example, you may book a Cut & Blow Dry and a Deep Conditioning Treamtment one month, but the following month your partner and child may come in for a Gents Wet Cut and Childs Wet Cut – all for just £45 a month.

It’s a mix and match membership that works for the whole family!
